About me
Ann Dasen is the faculty Costume, Hair, and Makeup Designer in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Central Michigan University. Ann has managed and designed costumes for various theatres in Michigan, Philadelphia and New York. Ann’s areas of interest focus on SFX Make-up and integrating non-traditional technology, such as sound and light, into costume designs. Her work also extends into collaborative film projects focusing on screen dance. A recent collaborative effort, titles Legado, included Ann’s makeup and costume designs and received an award for Best Art Direction at the Athens International Film Festival.
