Nurit Monacelli teaches Acting, On Camera, Audition Technique and Movement for the Actor at the American Academy of Dramatic Arts, Nurit Monacelli has also taught at NYU (Playwrights Horizons Theater School), Powerhouse Training Company at Vassar College, Montclair State University, Third Street Music School, and Operation Triple Threat. She coaches professional actors who have worked on Broadway, regionally and in tv and film. As an actor, Nurit Monacelli appeared in a recurring role on Manifest (Netflix). Other tv credits include guest roles on Blacklist (NBC), Inventing Anna (Netflix), Dietland (AMC), Person of Interest (CBS) and Law & Order, Criminal Intent (NBC). On screen she has had principal roles in Noah (dir Darren Aronofsky), Norman (starring Richard Gere) and leading roles in numerous award-winning independent films. Nurit's Off-Broadway credits include Lincoln Center, the Drama League and New Georges. Her regional credits include American Repertory Theater, New York Stage and Film, Shakespeare Theatre of NJ, and South Carolina Rep. She has appeared internationally at The Andrews Lane Theatre (Dublin) and the Moscow Art Theatre. She is a member of the National Alliance of Acting Teachers and of SAG-AFTRA and AEA.
